Kinds Of Young puppies Which Are Born Whitened

Dalmations are born completely white.

All puppies have two things in common when they are born: they are cute and cuddly. Many owners that have a dog expecting a litter for the first time do not realize they might have a batch of puppies that are born completely white -- even though the breed of dog they own may be famous for particular markings. This is completely normal because most puppies will develop their markings within months, weeks or even days. Many breeds of dogs are born with white fur and will remain white all their lives.

English Setters

English setters are one of the first gun dogs. They are slim and elegant with good personalities. English setters are known for their spotted, speckled, shaggy coat. The puppies are born completely white, but markings begin to show within a week.

Dalmatians

Dalmatians are perhaps one of the most famous breeds of dogs that start off white and develop spots later. The Dalmatian breed was first developed to run under carriages. They are also associated with fire departments and fire stations, often servings as mascots. Between 10 and 12 percent of Dalmatian puppies are born deaf, according to Dog Breed Info Center.

Red Heelers

Red heelers, also known as Blue heelers or Australian cattle dogs are famous for their herding skills. Many are participants in dog agility shows and are known for their intelligence and athleticism. Red heelers have Dalmatian ancestry, which is probably the reason they are born white.

West Highland White Terriers

A West Highland white terrier is born white and remains white throughout his life. The breed originated in Scotland and was recognized officially in 1907. According to the Westie Club of America, these dogs are known for their ability to hunt small game.

Maltese

The Maltese are an ancient breed of dog with origins dating back as far as 6,000 BC, according to Maltese Only. These toy-sized dogs are born with short, smooth, white fur that quickly grows into the soft, silky coat of hair for which the Maltese breed is known.
