Mineral Lake Resort
Mount Rainier's visibility on clear days ranges from Seattle to Portland, Oregon.
Mineral Lake Resort has a breathtaking view of Mount Rainier, and is located within forested mountains just a short drive from Mount Rainier National Park and Mount St. Helens. Mineral Lake Resort rents rowboats and pontoon boats, and has dock fishing, swimming, and a tackle and snack shop. The resort has pet-friendly cabins that welcome one cat or dog (up to 50 pounds, and with breed restrictions), with a pet fee of $10 a night, and a $50 refundable pet deposit to cover any pet damage. Pets must be quiet, friendly, and non-aggressive, have current vaccinations, and never be tethered or left unattended in or outside the cabin.

Kelly's Resort is a vacation spot on the South Shore of Lake Chelan, offering a sandy beach, sunbathing area, enclosed lake swimming, docks, diving board, heated pool, espresso bar, and wireless Internet. The boat mooring has rowboats, canoes, and kayaks that guests may use. The resort is great for family vacations, and pets are welcome in cottages with a nightly $15 per pet fee. This small family resort, on 20 wooded acres at Lake Chelan, has been in operation for 60 years. The 11 cottages are laid out to maximize privacy, and each cottage has a pine-paneled living room, full kitchen, one or two bedrooms, one or two bathrooms, fireplace, air conditioning, TV, and a private deck with gas grill. The upper cottage area offers wooded trails, a grassy play yard, and a heated swimming pool. The main building at the lake's edge has a small store, fireplace room, deck, and coffee bar.
