JCM's All Breed Dog Obedience School
JCM's All Breed Dog Obedience School was awarded the 2009 Best of Covington Award in the area of Dog Training. Jean Manino has decades of experience and has been awarded every possible distinction from the American Kennel Club. Classes are open to dogs four months and older, and the basic course runs for eight weeks. Some training equipment, such as leashes and pinch collars, are required for the course, so be sure to check the website for any necessities before attending a class.

Abney Canine Training
The Abney Canine Training facility handles all breeds. Dogs can be trained while their owners are present, or there is also a boarding option for the dog if the owner is unable to attend the entire training course. Besides obedience training, the Abney center is also certified to train dogs in blood tracking, narcotics and arson detection and search and rescue.
