The Teacup Chihuahua is an adorable dog breed. However, many of these adorable little dogs end up homeless. Many rescue groups are dedicated to finding these tiny little dogs new homes that are brimming with love. To rescue a Teacup Chihuahua you just have to know where to look.

1. Start your search for Teacup Chihuahua rescue group is the Internet. Most rescue groups have established websites that highlight the dogs they have available and the guidelines for adoption (see Resources).
2. Know what search terms to use. Try using specific search terms that include your location and the words Teacup Chihuahua rescue.
3. Make sure you read all the information they have posted carefully. Write down any contact information and print any forms they have available.
4. Check standard Chihuahua rescues for Teacup Chihuahuas. They may have one for placement or know another group that has one (see Resources).
5. Try contacting a local shelter or animal rights group. Often these groups have contact with breed specific rescue and they can point you in the right direction.
