Many resources are available to help you sell your puppies in Pennsylvania
If you live in Pennsylvania and have puppies to sell you have the advantage of the state's size and rural-urban mix. The state is rather large, providing a wide consumer base and plenty of places to advertise. And Pennsylvania has bustling cities and rural areas--a plus because some breeds, such as Labrador retrievers, like the outdoor life while others, like the chihuahua, are thought of as indoor, city dogs. So you're not limited to one breed.
Instructions
1. Advertise your puppies on a website set up for breeders in Pennsylvania, such as the Pennsylvania section of PuppyDogWeb. You can usually post pictures as well as relevant facts about your puppies for sale.
2. Place ads in local newspapers. Pennsylvania newspapers such as the Philadelphia Daily News, the Press Enterprise, the Standard Journal and the Pittsburgh City Paper will likely be able to provide you with ad space. In your ad, state the breed or breeds, the age of your puppies, how many males and females you have available and the cost. Of course, provide contact information too.
3. Drop your information off at a local veterinary office. People looking for puppies ask vets if they know of anyone who is selling them. Either post a flier on a bulletin board in the office or leave your information with the receptionist.
4. Place fliers in pet stores and other pet facilities, such as kennels and obedience schools. Include pictures of the puppies along with their information.
