Get a doghouse for your Sim pet so that it can breed.
The Sims 2 computer game was a great improvement on the original Sims, because there were many more opportunities for personalization in 2. One of the greatest opportunities for personalized play comes in the expansion modules. Pets is one of the more popular modules to add to the Sims 2 experience. Pets gives you the opportunity to keep dogs, cats, birds or other creatures in your Sim house. If you want to breed your cat or dog with another and enjoy a litter of little pets, you will need a doghouse, much like Sims need a bed in order to get pregnant.
Instructions
1. Turn on your game and let it load. When you are on the main screen, click on the family icon to load your Sims 2 family.
2. Click on the icon that connects you to the buying screen on the display. When you are in buy mode, choose the outdoor options to reach the doghouse.
3. Scroll through all of the offerings for outdoors until you reach the doghouse. Click on the doghouse to purchase it, then place it on your Sims lot. Place the doghouse near the main house, so that it will be convenient and won't take a lot of time to access.
4. Make your dogs or cats interact with another one until they like each other. Make sure that you have one male and one female. After your pet likes the other one, click on the doghouse and click on the option to try for a pet. If your pet likes the other one enough, they will go into the doghouse and "Woohoo." If your dog is pregnant, you will hear baby nursery music, and she will give birth in three days to a litter.
