It is easy to create a website to sell your labrador puppies
If you love animals, and want to go into business to sell Labrador puppies, you need a website. A website helps to show potential buyers that you are credible and it also helps you to display pictures and videos of the puppies that will help you sell them. You don't need any graphic design or web development skills to sell your puppies online. Simply use a free website creator and your site will be up and running in no time.
Instructions
1. Log onto a website that allows you to create and manage sites online for free, such as Wordpress.com. Wordpress was originally designed as a blogging site, but has turned into a content management system that allows you to create websites with different pages, using pre-designed templates.
2. Click the orange, "Sign up now," button, located on the right side of the page. You will be directed to a page where you must create an account with Wordpress to continue. Choose a username and password that you will remember. Enter the email address where you want Wordpress to contact you. Read the Terms of Service, and then click the box that says you have read them. Select the "Gimme a Blog" option and hit "Next."
3. Choose a Blog Domain name for your site. Since you intend to sell Labrador puppies, the term "Labrador puppies" is a keyword for your website. Try to incorporate this key term into your title; this will help the search engines find your site.
4. Choose a URL for your website that is similar, if not the same, as the name of your site. Again, try to use the keyword, or something similar, in your web address. When you launch your site, it will appear in the address bar as www.NameOfYourSite.wordpress.com.
5. Click "Create Blog." You will be redirected to a page that tells you that your site has been registered. Along the top of the screen, there is a gray bar with different menu options. Select "My Dashboards," and click on the name of your blog in the menu that pops down. You will see all of the stats and information for your blog.
6. Click on "Appearance," in the menu bar on the left and select "Themes." Choose a theme that will best fit your website. Click the "A-Z" link at the top of the page to see all of the themes. Click "Preview" beneath the theme to see a larger version of the theme. When you find a theme you like, click "Activate."
7. Click on the "Pages," button in the left hand bar. This is where you can add extra pages or navigation to your website. The main page of your blog will be your "Home" page. Click on 'Add New' to create each additional page.
8. Add an "About" page to talk about who you are, the puppies you are selling, how your breed your dogs, and other information people would like to know.
9. Add a "Contact" page, so that visitors can easily find your email address or phone number.
10. Add a "Gallery," page where you can add pictures of available dogs. You can even add an "Our Dogs," page with information on the mother and father dogs you use to breed your puppies.
11. Add a "Blog" page where you can add extra information and updates on new litters, what's going on in your kennel, or just general information about labradors. Not only will these pages help your potential buyers get to know you better, but the extra content will help you rank higher in the search engines.
