The pets can enjoy a vacation as well, with plenty of suitable stores, restaurants, beaches and parks available for your furry friend.

Rickenbacker Causeway Beach


The Rickenbacker Causeway Beach extends from downtown Miami to Key Biscayne and is one beach that allows dogs. When taking a dog to the beach, it should be on a leash not only for the safety of other guests, but the safety of the pet as well.


Flamingo Bark Park


The Flamingo Bark Park is an off-leash play park for dogs. The landscaped grounds offer skill and training equipment, as well as water fountains for both dogs and humans. When taking dogs to the Flamingo Bark Park, they should be up to date on all vaccinations and sociable with other animals.


Shopping


There are various stores and shopping centers in Miami that are dog-friendly. The Village of Merrick Park in the Coral Gables area is completely dog-friendly and offers various places to shop and dine. Bal Harbour Shopping Center on Collins Avenue, Dolphin Mall on NW 12th Street and Lincoln Road Shops on Lincoln Road are also pet-friendly.
