Several Baltimore restaurants entertain diners with live jazz music.
Listening to live jazz music while enjoying a meal at a restaurant hearkens back to a time where dining out was a special social occasion that combined entertainment with social interaction and cuisine. Several restaurants in the city of Baltimore, Maryland, carry on that tradition. The city is home to several dining establishments that pair the region's delicious seafood with live jazz ensembles.
Velleggia's
Velleggia's of Baltimore is home to the Water Street Jazz Supper Club, which entertains guests of the establishment nightly. The restaurant operates a complimentary shuttle for guests from downtown Baltimore locations. The music of Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra is played on the house stereo when the restaurant's rotating schedule of live jazz musicians and singers is not in session. Velleggia's has a 100% organic menu featuring gluten-free whole-wheat pasta. Other dishes include the chicken breast and shrimp scampi atop fettuccine paired with garlic butter sauce, and veal prosciutto with mozzarella and Marsala sauce. Try one of several Italian-style seafood dishes, including Maryland crab cakes with pasta, and fettuccine with scallops and crab meat.
