In addition, dogs boarded overnight are kept in climate controlled, indoor kennels that are equipped with bedding and water, are fed twice daily and receive evening treats with owner permission. In addition, boarded dogs receive one-on-one cuddle sessions with staff members and outdoor trips for bathroom and playtime breaks, and dogs from the same owner/family are allowed to board together. Current boarding rates begin at $20 a night, as of May 2010, and owners interested in boarding a dog should contact the facility for application and dog pre-screening requirements.

The 50 Oaks Puppy Camp is located 15 minutes northwest of Des Moines in Dallas Center, Iowa. Situated on a country estate with nearly 11 acres of fenced outdoor space, the facility specializes in boarding services exclusively for dogs under 25 pounds. Dogs boarded at the facility will enjoy leashed or unleashed hiking exercises, indoor and outdoor playtime and feeding based on owner-specified schedules. Boarding rates are $50 a night, as of May 2010, with discounts available for extended stays and multi-pet families.
