Exactly What Do You Feed Shavers Edge & Gotti Pitbull Young puppies

Pit bull puppies require proper nutrition to grow up healthy.

Pit bulls are bred for different traits such as size, strength, appearance and personality. Razor's Edge and Gotti's pit bulls are two distinct breeds of pit bull created by individual breeders. Gotti's pit bulls are descended from a famous show dog, Juan Gotti. Razors Edge pit bulls make excellent pets but do not usually fit show standards. Both puppies require a healthy, balanced diet to grow into strong, healthy dogs.

Fruits and Vegetables

Pit bulls such as Razor's Edge and Gotti puppies are strong dogs that require vitamins to support their bodies. As puppies grow they require even more vitamins than adult dogs. Although pit bulls rely almost entirely on meat for their diets, giving them some fruits and vegetables can provide them with other vitamins. Raw fruits are appropriate for pit bulls. Pit bulls enjoy steamed or cooked vegetables; raw vegetables may upset their stomachs. Vegetables are a low-fat filler for puppies with large appetites.

Protein

Pit bulls need a lot of protein; they are dogs with athletic, muscular bodies. Healthy Razor's Edge and Gotti pit bulls have no visible fat; muscle covers their bodies. To promote healthy muscle growth in pit bull puppies, supply them with a commercial dry food diet. Meat-only dry dog food is ideal. Raw diets including raw, uncooked meat are excellent for pit bulls when fed under a vet or pet nutritional expert's supervision. Wet food is unhealthy for pit bulls.

Feeding Times

Pit bull puppies require feedings throughout the day to supply their bodies with the nutrition needed to grow. Pit bull puppies may beg for food regardless of the time of day and their hunger; these dogs can eat until they get sick. Feeding your Razor's Edge or Gotti pit bull puppy at the same times every day helps establish a routine and can prevent puppy begging. Feeding off-schedule or giving table scraps encourages begging and other bad behavior.

Snacks

Growing Razors Edge and Gotti pit bulls require nutrition to grow; too much fat content can cause puppies to gain too much weight, however. To satisfy a puppy's urge to eat even when it requires no more food, supply it with snacks at regular times throughout the day. Commercial dog treats are often high in fat; give your dog snacks such as canned, unsalted beans to help fill it up. Pit bulls also enjoy treats of meat.
