Dogfriendly Hotels Near Tunica Mississippi

Several Tunica area hotels are dog-friendly.


Tunica, Mississippi, is one of the most popular gambling destinations in the United States. Located in northwestern Mississippi about 40 miles south of Memphis, Tennessee, Tunica is home to several large casino hotel resorts including Bally's, Sam's Town, Harrah's, Gold Strike and Hollywood Casino. Although many of the casinos do not accept guests with pets, there are a number of dog-friendly hotels in the Tunica area.


Cottage Inn


Cottage Inn, which accepts pets for a $10 nightly fee, is only three minutes from Tunica's major casinos. Each cottage has two rooms, and some have a fireplace and kitchenette. Guestrooms have Tempur-Pedic mattresses, satellite TVs with premium channels, free wireless Internet access, microwaves, refrigerators and coffeemakers. Presidential suites have added features such as a living area with a full kitchen, whirlpool baths, and large bedrooms with king beds. Hotel amenities include a complimentary breakfast, laundry facilities and outdoor grill access.

Key West Inn


Key West Inn allows clean, well-behaved pets weighing less than 35 pounds to stay in rooms with guests. The hotel has 44 guestrooms with one double bed or two double beds, free wireless high-speed Internet access, refrigerators, microwaves and cable TVs with HBO. Other hotel amenities include a complimentary continental breakfast, guest laundry as well as fax and copy services. Pets must be in a carrier or kennel if left unattended in guestrooms, and a nonrefundable pet fee may apply.

Located in nearby Robinsonville, five miles from nine Tunica area casinos, Days Inn Tunica Resorts allows small pets to stay with advance approval from the property manager. Guests are charged a pet fee of $15 per night. Rooms have double, queen or king-sized beds with free Wi-Fi, micro-fridge, coffeemakers, irons and ironing boards. The hotel also offers free local and long-distance calls, newspapers and breakfast. A complimentary, on-site business center allows guests to check email, send faxes or print airline boarding passes as needed.

Microtel Inn & Suites, located one mile from Hollywood Casino, Sam's Town and Resorts Casino, accepts overnight guests with pets. Dogs can stay with owners in their rooms for a $25 charge. Guestrooms provide free wireless high-speed Internet, 27-inch TVs, hairdryers, irons and ironing boards. Some rooms offer additional features such as whirlpool baths, microwaves and refrigerators. Nonsmoking rooms, adjoining rooms, and accommodations for those with disabilities are also available.
