Develop A Shed On The Dog Kennel

Building a shed over a dog kennel is a quick and cheap do-it-yourself approach to ensuring your dog a proper domicile in which to live. You can approach it a few ways, but the quickest and easiest method is to use tin and wooden fence posts. It should take you a few hours to assemble this project with the right equipment and supplies. Make sure you face the opening away from the northern wind.

Instructions

Shed Assembly

1. Take your spade shovel and dig four 1-foot deep holes four feet apart in a square formation, just wide enough to place the wooden posts into. Surround the rest of the hole with the used dirt.

2. Take your 4-foot by 6-foot tin siding panels and nail them into the wood posts you've dug into the ground in a square formation. Use three nails per post. The tin siding should go all the way to the ground to prevent wind flow through the kennel. You should cover the three main sides of the side walls of the kennel.

3. Grab the 4-foot by 4-foot tin siding panel and place it on the top of your square formation, which will act like a roof. Make it flush with all sides and hammer two nails in each top of the wooden posts.
