Whether you are looking for the latest products on the market or just want to spend the day indoors with your family, trade shows offer something for everyone, and North Carolina has several of these expos throughout the year. Industry leaders and local vendors set up booths at trade shows to highlight the newly released and next year's product lines. Many expos also offer lectures from experts in the market, live demonstrations and sample products.
Southern Kitchen and Bath Show
The Southern Kitchen and Bath Show highlights local artists and industry leaders in the kitchen and bathroom remodeling business. The expo has exhibits showcasing kitchen cabinetry, countertops, bathroom decor, appliances and closet organizational tools. The trade show also hosts special exhibits throughout the event such as the outdoor kitchen exhibit and the Cambria Cooking Stage, where professional chefs give cooking tips. This trade show is open to the public and is held in August.

Body Mind Spirit Expo
This is the largest holistic health and wellness expo in the United States. The trade show has more than 100 booths from nationally recognized brands in the health, wellness and organic living industries, as well as dozens of free lectures on holistic living and wellness. The trade show is held in August in Raleigh, North Carolina and is open to the public.

The Great Train Expo
This expo features operating model railroads, train dealers, collectors, exhibits and demonstrations. There are booths showcasing the latest in model railroads as well as train-related apparel and merchandise. Throughout the expo, model train experts will give lectures, and visitors can bring in their own antique model railroad items for an appraisal. This trade show runs in September.
