If you are visiting the Casino Aztar Hotel in Evansville, Indiana, you're in luck because there are many great restaurants to choose from, located both at the casino itself and nearby. Cavanaugh's
At Cavanaugh's, enjoy great service and sweeping river views along with steak, seafood, soups, salads and appetizers. Signature martinis, fine wines, a full bar, coffee and tea are also available. Cavanaugh's is limited to guests over 18 years old and features a quiet atmosphere. Located on Level Two of the Pavilion in the Casino Aztar, you can enjoy live entertainment nightly in the restaurant's piano bar. Reservations are recommended but not required. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday 5pm to 10pm and Friday and Saturday 5pm to 11pm.
Stoney's
This hot country nightspot is located near Casino Aztar and features burgers and steaks amongst an array of appetizers, cocktails and beers. Stoney's Evansville was the first Stoney's to open outside Las Vegas and is open daily from 11 am to 9 pm for lunch & dinner. Stoney's nightclub opens its doors on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights starting at 7 pm. With more than 20,000 square feet, you can enjoy more than just lunch and dinner; live entertainment, a large hardwood dance floor, premier DJs nightly, a state-of-the-art sound system, three pool tables, beer-pong tables and a mechanical bull are also part of the fun.
Max and Erma's
Max and Erma's Family Restaurant is famous for serving "All-American Favorites" such as gourmet burgers, pastas, steaks, salads, appetizers and their famous buffalo chicken sandwiches. Smoking is permitted only in the bar. Enjoy Max and Erma's is located on Casino Level One of the Pavilion. Open daily from 10:30am to 12:00am.
Ri Ra Irish Pub
Irish and American cuisine is served at Ri Ra Irish Pub. There are monthly specials, a patio and happy hour available. Reservations are accepted everyday except for Wednesdays. Enjoy Irish and American dishes such as shepherd's pie, Irish potato cakes and fish & chips. More complex dishes are also on the menu, with dishes like pepper-crusted beef carpaccio, crab-stuffed baked trout and pan-seared duck breast. Ri Ra is located right at 701-B NW Riverside Drive, near the Casino Aztar Hotel in Evansville.
Temptations Buffet
If you can't decide what to eat, try a buffet. This all-you-can-eat buffet features fresh seafood, carved meats, an array of soups and salads and a wide selection of desserts. Temptations Buffet is located on the second level of the Casino Aztar Hotel. Breakfast is served daily from: 6am to 10:30am, lunch is from 11am to 2:30pm and dinner from 4pm to 10pm.
